About Us
Decades of diverse experience as a senior level manager of project development, design, construction and operations qualify Scott as a highly successful Owner’s Representative for projects of all sizes. Initially, as a practicing architect rising to executive level management of two of the most prominent architecture and engineering firms in the country, he has evolved into broader scale practices representing developers and investors.
Although he still holds inactive registered architect’s licenses in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico as well as NCARB certification, he has continuously expanded beyond traditional architectural practice. In those capacities he has acted as Executive Architect or Owner’s Representative and managed the work of Architects, General Contractors and Construction Managers on projects of all sizes and complexities.
His success acting as the Director of Development of the Phoenix Suns Arena in downtown Phoenix earned him a solid reputation with the team’s ownership, which resulted in his being hired to lead 17 phases of expansions and renovations after the project was completed. Later, that same confidence generated repeated work renovating and expanding hospitality and entertainment elements at the Diamondbacks stadium and a unifying entertainment district plan connecting and surrounding both of these major sports venues. In each case, these projects were completed ahead of schedule and within the approved budget - a stellar reputation that he maintains to this day.
Additionally, accumulated master planning involvement led to heading projects that envisioned a new town commercial district in Show Low, AZ as well as complete district-wide assessments for The Peoria Unified School District, The Phoenix Union High School District, The Glendale Union High School District and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix School system. Scott has also actively managed individual new construction including retail, entertainment and dining, hospitality, financial institutions, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential projects – and even a planned theme park.
His focus on development, rather than architecture, during the last several years has included daily involvement in feasibility studies, design and construction direction and post occupancy activities. Built upon that, his approach is formulated toward an executive level relationship with the Owner. As such, his planning sequence, budget, schedule and reporting mechanisms are tailored to critical overviews, with attached detailed back-up material provided by the entire team. He is the leader of the team for the Owner and the funnel for communication with the Owner. His accumulated experience is the basis for defining the scope and performance of required services for projects.
